My approach can be considered Holistic because it includes work on many levels: emotional, mental, physical and spiritual. I believe that all of these aspects contribute to our happiness and wellbeing.

“Trauma is a fact of life, it does NOT, however, have to be a life sentences.
"Trauma does not rest in the event but in the individual’s nervous system.”

 Dr. Peter A. Levine
Founder of the Somatic Experiencing approach

1. I use The Somatic Experiencing (SE) Method, a psychobiological approach:

“The impact of trauma is in your animal brain – in your survival brain – and your survival brain doesn’t have words or concepts or ideas. Actually, you can be highly traumatized, and be very smart, extremely insightful, and have it all down. You might have had ten years of psychoanalysis and cognitive behavioral treatment, but when your animal brain gets triggered by a particular sound, smell, or visualization, that animal part of your brain takes over. In order to really overcome trauma, you need to take care of that “frightened dog” inside – and that is really the challenge because ‘insight’ does not quiet down the limbic system: the frightened dog.”
                                                                                                                                                                                                                Bessel van der Kolk.

The answer to that is The Somatic Experiencing trauma resolution method. It does not require the traumatized person to re-tell or re-live the traumatic event. Instead, it offers the opportunity to engage, complete and resolve - in a slow and supported way - the body’s instinctual fight, flight and freeze responses. This resets the nervous system, release trapped energy, restores inner balance, enhances resilience to stress and increases people’s vitality & capacity to actively engage in life. As a Somatic practitioner, I offer genuine & compassionate support to facilitate the release of trauma throughout your body.

2. What if there were a simple but profound practice that could help you quickly locate the center of your sexual wellbeing, even when you feel derailed by pain or lost in the depths of trauma?”
Gina Ogden - the founder of the 4 Dimensional Wheel of Sexual Experience: www.4-DNetwork.com

To address your sexual concerns, I use Gina Ogden’s method: exploring your sexuality based on the 4 dimensions of your sexuality: body, mind, heart, and spirit.
This approach respects your inner struggle & allows you to be the leader of your own healing. I hold impeccable safe space and listen closely without judgment. I witness each step you take in the exploration of your own sexual needs from a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual perspective. Gina Ogden’s approach expands the practice of sex therapy beyond performance goals. It is a safe, embodied, moving, collaborative, inspiring and often surprising approach for couples, individuals or groups; a process that frees you from feeling “stuck” in your sexuality.
